Job summary

ABB is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead the execution of small projects across the US East Coast territory. You will ensure that all activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets, and apply basic project scheduling to manage risks.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5 years of project management experience (electrical industry preferred), strong Excel skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred) or relevant equivalent experience.
• 5 years experience (Project Management experience in the electrical industry preferred.)
• Enhanced knowledge of Excel.
• Demonstrated track record managing multiple tasks during the course the day and working in a highly productive/organized manner.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Leading the project team allocated to the project.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
