Job summary

ABB is seeking an Associate Project Manager to coordinate Electrical Preventative Maintenance projects and support administrative workflows. You will define planning techniques, update progress, and drive project execution while maintaining strong customer relationships.

This role requires 2+ years in construction project management, a focus on customer satisfaction, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/night work and limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction project management.
• Excellent customer service with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and implement solutions.
• Familiarity with electrical/mechanical services or ability to learn.
• Able to deal with ambiguity and rapid pace in changing environments.
• Minimum of three years in a customer service/account management/project assistant role.
• Proven success in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Experience with direct field services support and logistics of managing remote personnel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of planned vs actual project performance.
• Prepare materials and assist in project reviews.
• Manage billing milestones and adherence to the billing plan.
• Maintain documentation accuracy and consistency per procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts and contractors.
• Manage lifecycle of customer deliverables including scheduling and follow-ups.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.
• Assist with tracking financials, issuance of POs, change orders & invoicing.
• Review and process quotes to ensure economical solutions.
• Utilize service platform to monitor and track progress.
• Schedule flexibility for weekends and nights.
• Travel limited to customer sites as needed.
