Job summary

Alliance North America (ANA) seeks an Electrical Compliance Engineer for an onsite Henderson, NV role. You will contribute across the full product-development cycle, from requirements to system integration and field support.

The position focuses on LV/HV electrical architectures, schematics and harness design, component selection, testing, and certification coordination. A 1-3 year hands-on background in automotive, off-highway, or industrial electrical systems is required, with a Bachelor's

Qualifications

1-3 years hands-on electrical product-development experience in automotive, off-highway, industrial equipment, controls, power equipment, or similar environment.
Experience developing electrical systems including schematics, wiring designs, and component sizing.
Ability to read datasheets, size circuits, and select electrical components.
Excellent documentation and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and service teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine low-voltage and high-voltage electrical architectures, including power distribution, grounding, protection, controls, I/O, and communications.
Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, connector pinouts, interface-control documentation, and BOMs.
Select and specify electrical components such as batteries, inverters, motors/generators, DC/DC converters, contactors, relays, fuses, sensors, connectors, cables, and system controllers.
Perform engineering calculations and design checks for conductor sizing, voltage drop, overcurrent protection, power/energy balance, thermal loading, precharge, and derating.
Integrate electrical and electronic subsystems into prototypes and production-ready equipment, including CAN/J1939-connected devices and embedded controllers.
