Job summary

SimIS, Inc. is seeking an eLearning Instructional Designer to collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders across NATO Nations, Partners, and Entities to conduct a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop instructional content.

The role focuses on storyboard-based or rapid development approaches and requires extensive experience with e-learning design, SCORM, and LMS platforms, including Moodle. The position is onsite and involves creating measurable objectives, module structures,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or BS with significant experience
• 10 years of e-Learning development experience
• 5–10 years of experience with e-learning authoring tools
• 5–10 years of LMS experience (Moodle or similar)
• Portfolio with at least three e-learning projects and samples

Responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify gaps
• Define measurable learning objectives aligned to goals
• Design course structures with modules, lessons, and assessments
• Develop instructional content from SME materials
• Apply diverse instructional strategies for varied learning styles
• Design and implement pre-, formative, and summative assessments
• Establish evaluation to measure course impact
• Create feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement
