Job summary

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Certificate in related field.
• Minimum of 5 years EHS experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience dealing with local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• This position is 100% onsite and requires US PERSON STATUS.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility compliance with OSHA rules and regulations and record retention requirements.
• Coordinates the purchase and inventory of personal protective equipment.
• Facilitates new hire and continuing EHS training programs for employees.
• Maintains SDS and Hazardous Communications program.
• Oversees hazardous and non-hazardous wastes and waste management systems.
• Coordinates with regulators, inspectors, and corporate personnel; assists with audits and corrective actions.
