Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Dallas, Texas is seeking an EHS Technician to coordinate facility environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.

Under general supervision the role monitors and ensures necessary EHS controls are in place, conducts program evaluations to limit chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic risks, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience dealing with local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Position is 100% onsite with no remote option; must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility compliance with OSHA rules and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate PPE purchase and inventory.
• Assist with EHS training programs for employees.
• Lead accident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate Emergency Response Team and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure SDS and Hazardous Communications program compliance.
• Liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Support building maintenance and contractor compliance.
