Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years EHS experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience dealing with local, State and Federal regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels to effectively convey safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility compliance with OSHA rules and regulations, including documentation and record retention.
• Coordinates the purchase and inventory of PPE.
• Facilitates EHS training programs for employees and promotes a safety culture.
• Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations including reports and permits.
• Coordinates with regulators, inspectors, and corporate personnel; assists with audits and corrective actions.
