Job summary

ERM is hiring a motivated Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Technician to support our technology client onsite in the Taylor, TX area. This is a full-time, dayshift, limited-term role (2 years, extendable) with a 3-on, 4-off and 4-on, 3-off pattern.

The successful candidate will develop and support OSHA-based requirements, SOPs, health and safety plans, job hazard analyses, emergency plans, risk assessments, and contractor safety management.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in EHS or related field.
• 3+ years of experience providing EHS support with an emphasis on health and safety.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Daily 6s Safety Audit Log and track issues to closure.
• Identify follow-up actions to close audit findings.
• Prepare and present data using Excel; create presentations in PowerPoint.
• Provide weekly activity reports to EHS Managers and Senior Specialists.
• Support Safety Committee Meetings and Safety Walks.
• Support Emergency Action Plans and drills as scheduled.
• Perform compliance and system audits for applicable EHS regulations.
• Assist with near-miss/incident investigations as requested.
• Verify PPE and equipment usage per client requirements.
• Be the voice of the engineer for safety needs.
• Escalate issues and provide improvement ideas weekly.
• Support safety assessments and EHS trainings.
• Develop EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
• Collaborate with ERM Partners and Project Managers.
