Job summary

Consentium Search is recruiting for an EHS Specialist to join a manufacturing client in Janesville, WI. This on-site position offers relocation assistance within the US and handles diverse EHS programs under the Director of EHS.

You will coach employees, drive regulatory compliance, and support safety and environmental initiatives across the facility, ensuring adherence to federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years in EHS in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience handling multi-media environmental programs
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and reporting
• Professional certification from BCSP, NASP, IHMM, COSS, NREP, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of EHS and partner with plant operations leadership on interpretation of EHS regulations
• Align corporate and local EHS goals and strategies
• Participate and/or lead employee training programs on EHS behaviors and compliance
• Lead EHS audits and inspections and develop remediation plans as needed
• Manage multi-media environmental compliance (Water, Waste, Air)
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives in EHS policies and programs
• Maintain compliance with relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations

EHS Specialist in Janesville, WI, Job 1873

Our manufacturing client in Janesville, WI is seeking an EHS Specialist to join their team. The position requires being on-site in Janesville, WI. Relocation assistance within the US is available. This is one of over 50 current EHS positions being recruited for nationwide.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Director of EHS, you will be responsible for supporting the management and overall direction of EHS programs and activities at the facility

You will guide, coach, mentor and support all site employees on how to protect themselves, each other and company assets in the most productive and efficient manner.

Partial List of Minimum Requirements:

• Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
• Bachelor's Degree plus 3 or more years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing or other industrial environments or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated success handling multi-media environmental programs
• Demonstrated understanding of OSHA regulations and reporting
• Additional Preferred (not required) Competencies:5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments
• Professional Certification from a nationally recognized organization (BCSP, NASP, IHMM, COSS, NREP, etc.)
• Major Responsibilities:Support the Director of EHS and partner with plant operations leadership regarding interpretation of federal, state and local EHS regulations
• Align corporate and local EHS goals and strategies
• Participate and/or lead employee training programs regarding EHS behaviors and compliance
• Participate and/or lead EHS audits and inspections developing remediation plans as needed
• Participate and/or lead multi-media environmental compliance including, but not limited to: Water (SPCC, storm); Waste (hazardous and non-hazardous); Air (internal respiratory and external emissions)
• Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement initiatives regarding EHS policies and programs
• Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local EHS regulations
