Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Consultant to join our West regional Advisory Services team in Rancho Dominguez, CA. You will identify EHS issues, propose practical resolutions, and support short- and long-term consulting engagements for diverse clients.

The role requires 2+ years of EHS experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and strong problem-solving abilities. Travel and client-facing responsibilities accompany this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an EHS role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
• Detail orientation and problem-solving ability.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Measure occupational and environmental hazards using calibrated equipment or samples.
• Assess effectiveness of engineered controls (e.g., fume hoods).
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and safety devices.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and PPE compliance checks.
• Identify health hazards and help implement controls (ventilation, etc.).
• Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate safety findings to client personnel and propose actions.
• Provide routine EH&S trainings (new hire orientation, hazard comms, forklift).
• Write accident reports and OSHA recordkeeping entries.
• Assist in developing health and safety policies and procedures.
