Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Middlesex, NC is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Analyst onsite to support environmental, health, safety and security efforts for a 105‑person site. The role focuses on the Aerospace Safety program and supports an $8 million expansion project.

The position requires a Bachelor's in EHS, 3+ years of project experience, OSHA 30, and strong regulatory knowledge. ITAR US person status applies; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of project experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong knowledge in EPA, OSHA, NFPA & DOT federal, state, and local regulations.
• This position requires U.S. person status under ITAR; Eaton will not sponsor immigration.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractors and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop pre-qualification documents including Risk Assessments and Site Specific Safety Plans, and integrate EHS requirements into Methods of Procedures.
• Conduct onboarding of contractors with site-specific training.
• Lead daily toolbox talks with contractor team.
• Perform daily site assessments and inspections.
• Assist in EHS permitting requirements tied to the expansion.
• Own incident investigations and identify corrective actions addressing root causes.
• Support EHS Manager with Environmental, Safety, and Health compliance programs.
