Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in EPA, OSHA, NFPA & DOT federal, state, and local regulations.
• This position requires U.S. person status under ITAR; Eaton will not sponsor immigration.

• Perform daily site assessments and inspections.
• Assist in EHS permitting requirements tied to the expansion.
• Own incident investigations and identify corrective actions addressing root causes.
• Support EHS Manager with Environmental, Safety, and Health compliance programs.

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Analyst. This position will be onsite at our Middlesex, NC location. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates residing within the United States.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

The EHS Analyst is responsible for supporting environmental, health, safety, and security efforts for our Middlesex workforce of approximately 105 employees. This position’s primary focus is our Aerospace Safety program. This role provides hands‑on EHS leadership experience supporting an $8 million expansion project at the Middlesex site.

In This Role, You Will

• Manage contractors and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations coinciding with Eaton.
• Own the development and completion of required pre-qualification documents including Risk Assessment Processes, Site Specific Safety Plans, and integration of EHS requirements into Method of Procedures.

Required (Basic) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of project experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong knowledge in EPA, OSHA, NFPA & DOT federal, state, and local regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in knowledge and/or experience driving process improvements and sustaining implementation to prevent future incidents.
• Strong communication skills with a cross functional team and leadership.
• Eaton buy Eaton process knowledge is desirable.
• Construction project experience.
