Job summary

OptumCare in Austin, TX seeks an Onsite EAP Counselor to deliver onsite services for a dedicated client base. Responsibilities include assessment, referral, and crisis support, with collaboration tied to HR and management.

Role is per diem, non-exempt, hourly pay between $29.00 and $52.00, with benefits package and ongoing professional support. Prior experience in workplace and behavioral health settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health discipline.
• Current, unrestricted license at the independent practice level.
• 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Ability to work onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct solution-focused consultations with employees to define goals and action steps.
• Assess and refer to appropriate behavioral health programs and community resources.
• Provide manager consultation on workplace issues and incidents.
• Deliver on-site training and wellness seminars for managers and staff.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation of case activities in the assigned system.
