Job summary

Optum is seeking an Onsite EAP Counselor in Tualatin, OR for a per diem role at 16 guaranteed hours per week. This non-exempt, hourly position provides onsite services to a dedicated customer base and may involve consults with HR and managers on workplace issues.

Responsibilities include solution-focused consultations, referrals to appropriate services, and crisis intervention when needed. Licensing, experience, and the ability to work onsite are required, with competitive hourly pay and full

Qualifications

• Masters / Doctoral degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline.
• Current, unrestricted license at the independent practice level.
• 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Ability to work onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct solution focused consultations; helping clients define goals, plan action and gain insight.
• Assess and refer to appropriate programs and services including Worklife, behavioral health, substance abuse, and community resources.
• Assist with referrals for members needing ongoing counseling services.
• Provide limited after care monitoring to ensure safety and continuity of treatment.
