Job summary

Optum is seeking an Onsite Dedicated Workplace Consultant/EAP Counselor in Beaverton, OR for a per diem role totaling 6 hours per week. The position is non-exempt and paid hourly with evening shifts (Wed & Fri 4:00pm–7:00pm PST).

The ideal candidate holds a Masters/Doctoral in a behavioral health field, an active Oregon independent practice license, and 3+ years of licensed clinical experience. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health discipline.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice independently in Oregon.
• At least 3+ years of supervised licensed behavioral health experience.
• Proficient with MS Office applications and basic tech

Responsibilities

• Conduct solution-focused consultations to help clients define goals and plan actions.
• Assess and refer to work-life, behavioral health, and community resources.
• Provide referrals for members needing ongoing services and follow-up monitoring.
• Offer manager consultation on workplace issues and crisis intervention when needed.
• Deliver on-site or virtual trainings for managers and staff (wellness seminars, Lunch & Learns).
