Job summary

State of Mississippi - Medicaid seeks a Website Modernization Project Lead to drive a Drupal-based redesign. You will collaborate with Tyler Technologies, lead content strategy and migration, ensure accessibility compliance, and establish governance for ongoing site maintenance.

You will manage cross-functional stakeholders, oversee QA/UAT, and deliver with weekly status updates to leadership, aligning with public-sector expectations and project governance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale website redesigns or redevelopment projects with 100+ pages and multiple stakeholders.
• Public-sector or government website redesign experience with substantial content libraries.
• Direct experience working with external technology vendors and professional services firms.
• Hands-on experience with website implementations, migrations, or redevelopment projects.
• Working knowledge of ADA Title II and WCAG accessibility standards for web content and design.
• Experience developing or implementing web governance, content workflows, or digital change management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of a Drupal-based website redesign for a government client.
• Drive content strategy, IA decisions, and editorial direction with stakeholders and control board.
• Lead content migration planning and audits; manage migration workflows with owners.
• Oversee QA, UAT, and pre/post-launch readiness activities.
• Coordinate ADA Title II compliance and WCAG remediation with vendors and DOM team.
• Design and implement a sustainable web governance framework and SOPs.
• Engage stakeholders, facilitate working sessions, and communicate status to leadership.
• Provide weekly status updates and maintain decisions logs and inventories.
