Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a security-minded IT professional to act as SME across networking, Linux/Windows servers, and virtualization in an onsite Cedar Rapids environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, advise on technical solutions, and support RMF/800-53 standards.

You will engage with Tier1/Tier2 teams, help improve processes, and foster relationships with internal customers and peers while supporting a secure, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• Typically requires a university degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Must have a DoD Secret clearance prior to start date.
• Experience with Networking, Desktop/Server Administration, and Virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on chosen technologies within a cross-functional team.
• Collaborate with customers and peers to define requirements and standards.
• Develop technical and security requirements supporting 800-53 RMF standards.
• Assist in driving issue resolution and process improvements.
• Provide SME support for Tier1/Tier2 infrastructure teams.
