Job summary

SimVentions seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing to secure advanced combat systems.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. DoD policy knowledge, IAT Level II/III, and experience with Navy afloat systems are preferred; CASP/Security+ or CISSP are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Navy-specific security engineering experience or 5 years of general security engineering experience.
• Experience on Combat Weapons Systems like Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt, or similar Navy systems; DoD 8570 IAT Level II/III certification or equivalent for ISSO/ISSE.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word/Excel/Visio.
• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations.
• Lead ISSO activities for information systems.
• Plan and document risk assessments against vulnerabilities.
