Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a seasoned Document Control Specialist to lead and manage all project document control activities onsite, ensuring revisions, turnover packages, and records are accurate and current.

You will coordinate with field engineers and subcontractors, maintain ACC-based workflows, and generate dashboards in Power BI to track document metrics, while complying with project standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of document control experience in EPC projects.
• Direct onsite document control experience on construction sites.
• Experience with ACC and project reporting tools (Power BI preferred).
• Strong organizational and communications skills for fast-paced field work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all document control activities at the project job site.
• Maintain control of drawings, specifications, vendor data, RFIs, submittals, and as-built docs.
• Distribute latest revisions and remove obsolete documents.
• Onsite administrator for ACC and document management systems.
• Process and track transmittals, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, and other records.
• Coordinate with field engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and client reps.
• Monitor document status to support sequencing and commissioning.
• Prepare turnover packages and support commissioning documentation requirements.
• Generate reports and dashboards using Power BI or project reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, quality standards, and Power industry regs.
• Support audits and maintain document integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
