Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions in Albany, NY is seeking a Dispatch Manager to oversee daily workforce flow and scheduling for weekday on-site operations. You will partner with dispatchers to improve service efficiency, adherence to schedules, and contract completion, while onboarding new Service Delivery Specialists.

The role emphasizes people leadership, development planning, and stakeholder relationship management with a strong focus on customer value. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and two years of people management experience.
• A combination of Smart Care experience, people management or education experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (1.5 years’ experience = 1 year post-secondary education).
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workforce flow, scheduling issues, vacation schedule, and the emergency service schedule for weekends and evenings.
• Daily work with dispatchers on service efficiency, schedule adherence, and contracted service completion.
• Participate in onboarding and implementing a training plan for new Service Delivery Specialists (SDS).
• Identify individual potential and align development activities to abilities and talents.
• Review SDS performance with the Area Operations Manager monthly to identify needed improvements.
