Jobot is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to lead our property accounting operations for our multifamily portfolio in Troy, MI. This onsite role requires a strong background in property management accounting, team leadership, and systems expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of property accounting experience, with a focus on multifamily properties, and a track record of guiding month-end and year-end closes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in property accounting, with multifamily properties.
• Proven leadership and experience closing month-end/year-end.
• Strong knowledge of RUBS and utility cost allocation.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the property accounting team, ensuring timely financial reporting for all properties in the portfolio.
• Develop and implement accounting policies in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Collaborate with property managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights.
