Jobot seeks a Director of Accounting for a multifamily real estate portfolio, on-site in Troy, MI. You will lead property accounting operations, GL management, monthly accruals, prepaids, and journal entries, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidate has senior property accounting leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and hands-on Yardi proficiency; CPA is a plus. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA designation is a plus).
• Experience in a Controller, Director of Accounting, or similar senior property accounting leadership role.
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with Yardi software.
• Strong hands-on experience with property accounting cycles, monthly accruals, and RUBS administration.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee all property accounting operations, including General Ledger management, monthly accruals, prepaids, and journal entries.
• Oversee property billing and revenue management operations, including RUBS calculations and utilities allocations.
• Manage AP and AR workflows specific to multi-family/property portfolios.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members, establishing clear performance expectations.
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with property accounting standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategy with operational goals.
• Maintain and optimize financial software systems (such as Yardi).
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting processes, and assist with forecasting and annual audits.
