Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a driven Director of Construction to lead a growing project management team at an on-site Texas location. You will oversee development, design, permitting, and all construction phases, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, and coordinating with sales and operations to deliver data centers on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in a management role; 10–15 years preferred.
• Complex and technical construction experience required.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP construction management required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools like MS Project or P6.
• Travel 15–30% expected; onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of construction from master planning to project closeout.
• Create and manage project budgets and monthly forecasts with variances.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and drive integration across teams.
• Manage direct reports and third‑party project management resources; monitor staffing.
• Oversee development through commissioning, including reporting and governance.
