Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to support their status, and enhance quality of life aligned with goals.

You will educate staff and residents, follow regulatory standards, and collaborate with dining and nutrition teams to implement procedures and policies.

Qualifikationen

• Pass a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meet the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years as per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
