Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician in York, PA. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a broad fleet, using Penske tools and technology to diagnose and complete repairs.

You will learn Penske's maintenance processes and participate in technician training to grow your career. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience, a valid driver's license, and strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compliance with Penske safety and maintenance policies (DOT/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Doing preventative maintenance repairs and component lubrication.
• Partnering with your manager to learn new skills and training.
• Working on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
