Penske is seeking an Automotive Technician in Harrisburg, PA to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll log repairs using Penske tools, perform basic diagnostics, and work with your supervisor to learn new skills in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools confidently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor vehicle repairs.
• Log repairs and use basic vehicle diagnostics with Penske tools.
• Replace or rotate tires and maintain cooling and electrical systems on gas/diesel engines.
• Collaborate with manager on new skills and training.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
