Job summary

Chowbus is seeking a Test Operator to handle device testing and coordinate with 20+ cities to ensure best practices in logistics. This role is on-site in Chicago and may assist with shipments and inventory management.

The position offers growth within a leading restaurant technology platform. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of operational experience, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and familiarity with Windows/iOS and hardware testing.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of operational experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Basic knowledge of Windows/iOS operating systems and software troubleshooting
• Experience with hardware testing and diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Operate devices to test functioning of parts or units
• Run software programs to test device functionality
• Test components or circuits to locate defects using diagnostic software
• QC returned equipment to evaluate if it can be repurposed
• Oversee shipments process, tagging inventory and manage stock levels
