Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Development Program Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction on multiple data center projects. This role works daily with facilities teams, contractors, designers, engineers and operations, and it requires being onsite.

You will develop master development programs, manage budgets, schedules and entitlements, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality standards across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven or more years of experience in commercial construction practices and project delivery.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Travel up to 25–50% of the time depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Maintain daily interface with tenants and developers to strengthen partnerships.
• Solve problems quickly, prioritize demands, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Create and communicate weekly program and project updates for executives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a master development program for sites.
• Manage entitlement and permitting for assigned sites.
• Oversee phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
• Prepare scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning; participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services.
• Coordinate with procurement on equipment delivery.
• Ensure submittals are coordinated with site teams.
• Monitor budget and cost-to-date; establish site schedules and teams for on-time completion.
• Review monthly pay applications and change orders with contractors.
• Contribute to due diligence for potential new sites.
• Work with internal development team to enhance PM processes.
