Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals in a Lewisville, TX manufacturing setting. The role covers incident management, issue resolution, and documentation to improve IT processes.

The candidate will support Windows and Unix/Linux, participate in asset management, and assist with device deployments in a dynamic telecom production environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of Desktop Support or IT Support experience.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and OS issues.
• Support Windows and Unix/Linux environments, including virtualized infrastructure.
• Manage incidents, problems, and change requests per IT processes.
• Document systems, troubleshooting procedures, and solutions.
• Support onboarding, deployments, and asset management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Provide day-to-day IT support in a manufacturing/production environment.
