Job summary

The Designated Coordinator role at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is an on-site, full-time leadership position responsible for coordinating service delivery, supervising direct support professionals, and ensuring regulatory compliance across residential programs serving 4+ individuals in Minnesota. Compensation includes a base annual salary of $48,500 and a $1,000 hiring bonus.

Hours are Monday-Friday with occasional emergency coverage; qualifications include specified education pathways

Qualifications

• Designated Coordinator must meet one education/experience pathway per Minnesota Statute 245D.
• Experience with direct care for individuals with disabilities or adults 65+.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certification may be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Program Oversight: direct responsibility for one or more residential homes serving 4+ individuals; ensure healthy meals, supply fulfillment, accounts payable, etc.
• Service Delivery: ensure person-centered outcomes while safeguarding health and safety through coordination of support.
• Team Leadership: guidance and supervision of direct support professionals, including training and coaching.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: monitor adherence to 245D, policies, and standards.
• Collaboration: partner with professionals to align support.
• Direct Care: provide minimum of 16 hours hands-on support; additional hours as needed.
• Staffing and Shift Coverage: oversee schedules and overtime coverage.
• Administrative Duties: manage budgets, documentation, and regulatory communication.
