Job summary

Kyndryl seeks Deployment Technicians for fully onsite roles in Dallas, TX and Buffalo, NY, with shifts across AM, afternoon, and PM. Candidates will rotate five days per four weeks, totaling about 160 hours, and must be able to travel between sites and commute to client locations in the Buffalo area.

You will work with engineers and operations teams to validate equipment, document issues, and support bring-up activities, all while adhering to safety and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Interest in servers, data centers, and IT infrastructure.
• Follow procedures with safety and equipment protection in mind.
• Hands-on technical work in controlled environments.
• Willingness to wear PPE on active construction sites and obtain OSHA10.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-changing setting.
• Strong communication with remote and on-site teams.
• Willingness for 24x7 shift-based coverage and travel.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify deployment rack-scale equipment against docs.
• Inspect racks, doors, frames, fittings, and components for defects.
• Document and escalate nonconforming equipment before power-on.
• Check for leaks or safety concerns and report findings.
• Connect limited control cables as directed and ensure cables are organized.
• Assist with initial power-up and monitor for issues.
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams during bring-up.
• Install and remove SD cards on cabinets in restricted spaces.
• Follow safety, access, cleanliness, and equipment handling rules.
