Job summary
DXC Technology is seeking a Resident Field Support Technician to provide dedicated onsite IT support for a customer operating across two locations in Kentucky. This role requires a hands-on professional who will be the primary contact for end-user support, hardware troubleshooting, device deployments, and incident resolution while ensuring adherence to SLAs.
The technician will support both Jeffersonville and Clay City sites and will travel between locations as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT support or field support experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to work onsite independently in a customer environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise users and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SLA and TTR commitments.
- Knowledge of Azure/AWS/GCP environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line onsite technical support to end users.
- Respond to incidents and service requests within SLA targets.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Install, move, add, change, and dispose of IT equipment.
- Support desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Support Microsoft 365 and Teams related issues.
- Maintain ticketing documentation and asset inventory.
- Coordinate with remote support teams and vendors.
