Job summary

PGTEK is hiring a Datacenter Hardware Technician in Denton, TX. This 100% onsite role starts on first shift with rotation and a typical 8-hour day, 40-hour week. The position involves hands-on hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and installations within a fast-paced datacenter environment.

The ideal candidate will service Dell servers, handle parts replacements (GPUs, NICs, memory), and maintain uptime with strong attention to detail. Candidates must be US citizens and able to lift up to 65 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• 100% onsite presence in Denton, TX.
• First shift with rotation, flexible to varying shifts.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and installations in a Dell server datacenter.

Responsibilities

• Perform break/fix services on Dell servers, replacing GPUs, NICs, memory and other components.
• Track, prioritize, and resolve hardware service tickets promptly.
• Identify and resolve hardware issues using server architecture knowledge.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Lift up to 65 pounds and work in a physically demanding datacenter environment.
• Collaborate with technicians and other departments to meet deployment and maintenance goals.
• Ensure tasks and repairs meet high standards of accuracy and reliability.
