TEKsystems is seeking an Intermediate Data Center Technician for a fully onsite contract role in Rockdale, TX. The candidate will handle hardware upgrades, deployments, diagnostics, and documentation within a data center environment.

The position requires at least 6 months IT experience and involves troubleshooting, patch-cable work, audits, and support across IT systems and network services.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level with minimum 6 months IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries via support tickets from inception through resolution with minimal supervision.
• Support data center operations and IT systems, network services, and business-critical processes.
• Provide technical and operational support for colocation, connectivity, and network products/services.
• Install and deploy IT and network hardware.
• Make and run patch cables and verify testing cable paths.
• Perform data center hardware and inventory audits.
