Job summary

TekWissen Group in Plano, TX is seeking a Data Center Services Technician for a 12-month temporary assignment onsite. You will support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise environments.

Responsibilities include rack-and-stack, cabling, PDU provisioning, testing, and following safety and client standards to ensure high reliability. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of data center, telecom, or IT infrastructure experience, with

Qualifications

Experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and MOPs.
Familiarity with copper and fiber cabling standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Commitment to safety, quality, and documentation.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights.
Strong teamwork and communication with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and related infrastructure.
Install, route, terminate, and manage copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling.
Provision equipment and perform OOB management connections.
Conduct basic testing and validation per procedures.
Execute MACD activities and FRU replacements following procedures.
Maintain installation records, test results, and as-built documentation.
Escalate design concerns or safety risks to senior staff.
