Tekvana Inc. in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an L2 Data Centre Technician to install, rack, and deploy server and networking hardware in hyperscale datacenters. You will handle cable management, hardware replacements, and onsite diagnostic support while adhering to strict SLA requirements.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, basic networking knowledge, and strong attention to detail. You will work on rotating shifts or be on call to support 24/7 operations and collaborate with customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and server hardware.
• Familiarity with copper/fiber cabling and connectivity standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in data center environments.
• Strong organizational and time management in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, and deploy server and networking hardware.
• Perform cable management and reseating/replacing cabling.
• Execute server tray swaps and hardware replacements as per procedures.
• Respond to incidents and assist onsite troubleshooting with SLA adherence.
• Document maintenance, hardware changes, and inventory updates.
• Conduct visual inspections and basic diagnostics.
• Work shifts or on-call to support 24/7 operations.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with customers, vendors, stakeholders.
