Job summary

365LiveTech is seeking a Data Center Technician for full-time, on-site work in the United States. The role involves installing, racking, and cabling servers and networking gear, monitoring systems, performing routine inspections, and coordinating break-fix activities with remote teams.

Ideal candidates have hands-on data center experience, familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems, and the ability to follow change management procedures while adhering to safety and security

Qualifications

• Hands-on data center operations experience including racking, stacking, cabling, and hardware installations.
• Working knowledge of servers, storage devices, and networking equipment, with basic troubleshooting and diagnostics skills.
• Experience performing IMAC tasks, break-fix support, and coordinating field activities with remote teams.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and documenting incidents, changes, and asset information.
• Ability to follow structured procedures, change management processes, and data center safety and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day hands-on support in data centers, including installing, racking, and cabling servers and networking equipment.
• Monitor system and network status, perform routine inspections, troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate break-fix activities with remote engineers and vendors.
• Execute IMAC tasks, maintain inventory and asset documentation, follow change management procedures.
• Support network deployments and assist with scheduled maintenance windows to ensure high availability.
