Job summary

Core Scientific seeks a Data Center Technician to monitor and manage power, cooling, and environmental conditions in our Austin data center. You will act as a first responder to incidents and manage workflow to ensure timely completion while adhering to safety policies.

You will utilize CMMS/BMS data, coordinate preventive maintenance, and work with contractors to maintain infrastructure health. The role requires a high school diploma and 3+ years in data centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of data center experience.
• Technical knowledge of electrical distribution, power, HVAC, and BMS/CMMS systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily operation of the data center from a service delivery perspective.
• Monitor data from CMMS and BMS to track infrastructure health.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures and PM inspections.
• Respond to incidents promptly and communicate with leadership.
• Ensure safety and change-control compliance.
