Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Onsite Safety Professional to support large-scale data center construction projects. The role focuses on total conformance with client EHS policies and site requirements, leading by example with high onsite attendance and performance.

The candidate will drive safety through monthly/weekly/daily metrics, coordinate with GC and Owner, and mentor teams while ensuring timely corrective actions and rigorous incident investigations.

Qualifications

• OSHA-30 certification with 5-7 years safety experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in safety field or CHST/SMP/GSP/ASP/CSP with 5-7 years.
• Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, NESC, ANSI and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GC is compliant with Site-Specific Safety Plan via daily site tours, bi-weekly safety walks and monthly evaluations.
• Coordinate safety events (monthly/weekly/daily) and report to construction team with GC and Owner.
• Provide real-time safety metrics and incident management reports incl. KPIs.
• Oversee execution of Client's observation program.
• Participate in safety committees and support risk assessments, investigations and reviews.
• Manage safety improvement and recognition reporting; meet SLAs and correct non-compliance at site.
