Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant (PMC) / Project or Construction Manager to serve as an Owner’s‑Representative Program Manager for complex energy and mission‑critical infrastructure programs. This role supports on-site execution leadership with home‑office project management and controls support.

The PMC Program Manager acts as the client’s primary point of coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline or equivalent field experience (15+ years) in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience managing complex infrastructure or energy projects.
• Experience in Owner’s‑Representative, Project Management Consulting (PMC), Owner’s Engineer, or similar client‑side execution roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner’s representative for program and project execution.
• Act as the primary client interface for day‑to‑day coordination and issue resolution.
• Establish priorities and drive alignment across contractors, EPCs, OEMs, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate interfaces across power generation, electrical infrastructure, data center, and interconnection scopes.
