Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Data Center Field Project Manager to lead owner’s‑side program delivery across complex energy and data center projects. The role blends on‑site leadership with home‑office project management and controls support.

The PMC Program Manager acts as the client’s primary coordinator across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover, with relocation possible between sites and frequent travel as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience in complex energy/infrastructure.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience managing large projects.
• Experience in Owner’s Representative/PMC/Owner’s Engineer roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner’s representative for program and project execution.
• Act as the primary client interface for day-to-day coordination and issue resolution.
• Establish priorities and drive alignment across contractors, EPCs, OEMs, and stakeholders.
• Oversee scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and safety performance.
• Coordinate interfaces across power, data center, and interconnection scopes.
