Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Data Center Field Project Manager to lead owner‑side execution of complex data center programs. The role blends on‑site leadership with home‑office project controls and requires mobility to relocate as program needs evolve.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of progressive infra/energy project experience, a relevant engineering degree or equivalent field experience, and a background in PMC/Owner’s‑Representative roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience in complex energy/mission-critical projects.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive infrastructure/energy project leadership.
• Experience in Owner’s‑Representative or PMC/Owner’s Engineer client roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner’s representative for program and project execution.
• Act as primary client interface for day-to-day coordination and issue resolution.
• Establish priorities and drive alignment across contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and safety performance.
• Coordinate interfaces across data center, power, and interconnection scopes.
• Coordinate integrated testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
