Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Data Center Field Project Manager to serve as an Owner’s‑Representative Program Manager for complex energy and mission‑critical infrastructure projects. This role combines on-site execution leadership with home‑office project management and controls support to integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline or equivalent field experience (15+ years) in complex energy, power, or mission-critical projects.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience managing complex infrastructure or energy projects.
• Demonstrated experience in Owner’s‑Representative, PMC, or Owner’s Engineer client-side roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner’s representative for program and project execution.
• Coordinate day-to-day client interface, priorities, and issue resolution.
• Oversee scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and safety performance.
• Coordinate interfaces across power, electrical, data center, and interconnection scopes.
