Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer for data center projects onsite with clients. You will oversee HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, plumbing, and mechanical system design while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Join a team delivering critical infrastructure with digital innovation. You will coordinate with vendors, lead technical documentation, and support commissioning and turnover, shaping safer, more sustainable facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required or four additional years of related experience.
• 6+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in data center/critical environment.
• 3+ years of senior level construction or design management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical design development, coordination, and installation for data center mechanical plant and equipment.
• Oversee design for HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and plumbing systems.
• Provide input on mechanical designs during project planning and contribute to technical documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project specs and quality standards.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical systems including control systems and cooling equipment.
• Conduct schedule and progress reviews and provide updates to client teams.
• Oversee QA/QC/Cx documentation and turnover packages for operations.
