Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical/Construction Manager to lead mechanical design development for data center projects onsite with clients. You will oversee HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and plumbing systems, coordinate with vendors, and drive commissioning and documentation to meet high industry standards.

The role requires 6+ years in mechanical engineering within data centers, 3+ years in senior construction/design management, and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required or four additional years of related experience.
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in data centers or critical environments.
• 3+ years of senior level construction or design management experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles; familiarity with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Run mechanics design development, coordination, and installation for data center projects.
• Oversee design process for HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and plumbing systems.
• Contribute to technical documentation and project reports.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to meet specs and quality.
• Oversee installation, commissioning of mechanical plant and control systems.
• Conduct schedule and progress reviews for client teams and stakeholders.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical system issues during startup and commissioning.
• Ensure QA/QC/Cx documentation and turnover packages are prepared.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with codes and safety standards.
