Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of mechanical systems for data center projects. You will oversee HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and plumbing, coordinating with vendors and field teams to ensure project specifications and quality are met.

Onsite client collaboration and rigorous QA/Cx documentation are integral to the role. You will guide installation and commissioning of mechanical plant, control and water treatment systems, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in data centers or critical environments.
• 3+ years of senior construction/design management experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design development for data center projects, ensuring performance and standards.
• Oversee HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and plumbing system design.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to meet specs and quality.
• Manage installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment, including control systems.
• Prepare QA/QC/Cx documentation and turnover packages for operations.
