Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Datacenter Hardware Technician to support Dell server infrastructure onsite in Warren, OH. You will perform hands-on hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and installations (rack and stack) with a focus on uptime and reliability.

This full-time role requires lifting up to 65 pounds, working 100% onsite, and rotating shifts. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced datacenter team, and possess experience with Dell servers, GPUs, NICs, and memory.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience servicing Dell servers in a datacenter environment.
• Ability to read server architectures and components.

Responsibilities

• Hardware maintenance & repair on Dell servers, including GPUs, NICs, memory replacements.
• Ticket management: track, prioritize, and resolve hardware service tickets.
• Troubleshooting & diagnostics to identify hardware issues and fix them.
• Customer service & communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Physical datacenter work and safe handling of equipment (lift up to 65 lbs).
• Collaborate with technicians and other departments to meet goals.
• Maintain high standards of quality and reliability in repairs.
