Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager – Electrical for Abilene, TX. You will oversee day-to-day operation, preventive maintenance, outage coordination, and incident response for critical electrical infrastructure in OCI data centers.

Lead technicians, manage vendors, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance. Strong knowledge of switchgear, UPS, and CMMS tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in electrical maintenance or mission-critical ops.
• 1–3+ years leading technicians in live environments.
• Strong knowledge of switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, PDUs.
• Experience managing outages, vendor execution, and incident response.
• Familiarity with EPMS, SCADA, BMS, and CMMS tools.
• Experience supporting commissioning or turnover of new electrical systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation, maintenance, and service execution for critical electrical infrastructure.
• Own electrical plant readiness, including preventive maintenance, testing, repairs, corrective work, outage coordination, and backlog management.
• Serve as primary site technical lead for electrical systems, including incident escalation and decision support.
• Manage Facilities Technicians, contractors, and vendors, ensuring safety, quality, and SLA performance.
• Oversee troubleshooting and restoration for electrical faults and operational incidents.
• Drive switching and maintenance coordination per approved procedures and codes.
• Track KPIs such as availability, backlog, incident trends, MTTR, and action closure.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams on upgrades, capacity, and handoff.
• Lead or support root cause analyses and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain audit-ready records including procedures, reports, one-lines, test results, CMMS data.
• Champion electrical safety and switching discipline; coach frontline leaders.
