Job summary

Oracle seeks an experienced Senior Facilities Service Manager - Mechanical in Abilene, TX to lead the onsite mechanical service team for critical cooling/HVAC systems in hyperscale data centers. This role reports to the Site Operations Director and oversees technicians, maintenance planning, and asset lifecycle performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC technology, facilities management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in mechanical/hvac facilities maintenance or uptime-critical environments.
• 3–5+ years leading technicians or field maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the onsite mechanical facilities technician team for maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service execution of mission-critical cooling/HVAC systems.
• Direct manager for Mechanical Facilities Technicians, providing leadership, prioritization, performance coaching, and development.
• Build and lead an in-house self-perform maintenance program for mechanical systems with planning, standards, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee maintenance for chillers, CRAH/CRAC, pumps, towers, exchangers, piping, and controls interfaces.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and internal service teams, enforcing SLAs, safety, and workmanship standards.
• Track system health, energy performance, maintenance effectiveness, and uptime metrics to reduce repeat failures.
