Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks an experienced Facilities Operations Manager – Electrical in Texas to lead safe, reliable operation of mission-critical electrical systems supporting OCI data centers. You will own plant readiness, preventive maintenance, incident response, and vendor performance while coordinating with site leadership to maintain continuous uptime.

Qualifications

5–8 years in electrical maintenance or plant ops in data centers or critical facilities.
1–3+ years leading technicians or maintenance teams in live environments.
Strong knowledge of switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, and power distribution systems.
Experience managing maintenance programs, outages, vendor execution, and incident response.
Familiarity with EPMS, SCADA, BMS, and CMMS tools.
Experience with commissioning, turnover, or acceptance of new electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operation, maintenance, and service execution for critical electrical infrastructure.
Own electrical plant readiness, including preventive maintenance, testing, repairs, and outages coordination.
Serve as the primary site technical lead for electrical systems and incident escalation.
Manage technicians, contractors, and service vendors ensuring safety, quality, and SLA adherence.
Oversee troubleshooting and restoration for electrical faults and system incidents.
Drive safe work practices and proper switching per procedures and code.
